A Training Update from the Executive Director:
Saginaw Valley Regional 4C has enjoyed working with you through the past years to provide quality training opportunities. We understand that you work hard to provide quality care to the children you serve, and we appreciate the time you take to work with us on increasing your professional knowledge by attending SVR4C trainings and workshops.
Due to uncertainty, delays, and reduction in the State of Michigan funding for our Child Care Future trainings, our ability to provide free training classes funded by the Department of Human Services has changed. Recognizing the need for child care providers to meet licensing regulations and to continue to increase your professional knowledge, SVR4C has developed a training plan that will offer training opportunities for free or at a low cost.
Please review the Training Calendar and you will find that our training plans offer a variety of training opportunities that will:
- Meet the licensing requirement for training hours
- Increase your knowledge and skills
- Meet your CDA Professional Development Goals
- Be up-to-date with resources and information
- Provide CEU credits
- Provide a Certificate of Completion

Refunds are not available. However, credit may be applied to future trainings in the same fiscal year. Participant must give agency advanced notice prior to first class.

- A Training Registration Form is enclosed within this brochure
- Please duplicate the registration form if you know someone else who would like to register
- Pre-registration is required
- Print the required information in each section of the form
- Please only register ONE person per registration form
- Indicate which trainings you plan on attending. You may register for multiple trainings on the form
- Double check to make sure your registration form is filled out correctly Incomplete forms may delay your registration process or possibly hinder you from taking the class
- Calculate your amount due and tally in the provided space
- Remember to add in the CEU amount if you are planning on applying for CEU’s. (Multiply this amount if applying for more than one class)
- Payment is due in full before 1st day of class to guarantee your spot.
To meet licensing requirements:
- Plan on attending EVERY session
- Arrive ON TIME & come prepared
- Be prepared to STAY THE ENTIRE LENGTH of the training
- You must complete the ENTIRE training in order to receive a Certificate of Completion or requested CEUs
- Replacement copies of Training Transcripts & Certificates Of Completion are available for $3.00 a copy
